Employees are leaders, designers, artists, programmers, support, lawyers or accountants. People who are occupied with directly adding value to the company. Employees will spend their day sitting at a computer to work.
The term differentiates itself from staff, who are occupied with keeping operations running smoothly so the employees can work, e.g. cleaners, cooks, maintenance, etc.
Traits are modifiers employees can have that change how they work, e.g. Night owl makes them better at working at night and Independent makes them less dependent on social needs. Each employee can have 2 positive and 2 negative traits, or 1 positive, 1 neutral and 1 negative trait.
These are differentiated from personality traits which control how compatible they are with other employees.
Personality traits consist of 2 labels per employee, e.g. pessimistic, generous, etc. These control how compatible they are with other employees and which traits employees can have.
They are differentiated from traits which control how they work, e.g. Night owl makes them better at working at night.
